About Menominee River State Recreation Area
The Menominee River State Recreation Area is located in northeast Marinette County, stretching along several miles of the Menominee River. The property has no single through road; instead, it is accessed via multiple maintained roads with parking areas that connect to local town roads. These access roads are not plowed in winter and can become difficult to navigate during wet conditions.
