About Baraboo Hills State Recreation Area
The main entrance to Devil's Lake State Park is on the north shore off County Highway DL, providing access to the Visitor Center, Chateau, Nature Center, picnic areas, shelters, beach, and the Quartzite, Northern Lights, and Ice Age campgrounds. The south shore, accessible via South Lake Rd, features a large picnic area, shelters, and a beach, with the Group Campground located about 0.5 miles east of this entrance. Self-service credit card kiosks are available at the north shore visitor center and south shore entrance station for vehicle admission passes, which can also be purchased online.
