About Sea Rim State Park

At the far southeast corner of Texas lies a remote and unique coastal park. Sea Rim State Park has nearly 2 miles of Gulf shoreline and 4,000 acres of marshlands. At this park, you can camp, go birding and beach combing, paddle in a canoe or kayak, swim, fish, hunt (in season) and walk. Stroll along the Gambusia Nature Trail Boardwalk, which takes you through the marsh. January average low is 42 degrees. July average high is 93 degrees. Wettest month is September. First freeze occurs mid-November. Last freeze occurs mid-March. Beach conditions vary seasonally. Please contact the park for current conditions.
