About Resaca de la Palma State Park
The Rio Grande etched the land in South Texas, and the result here is a semi-tropical paradise. Resaca de la Palma provides a peaceful refuge for both wildlife and people. What you can’t do here is drive your car! We do not allow private vehicles in the park. Instead, access the park and its trails by tram, on foot or on bike. Park your car at the visitor center. Choose a field guide or book, t-shirt, hat or other gift items. We also have cold drinks, snacks and ice cream.
