About Lake Bob Sandlin State Park
Two ecoregions meet here on the shore of Lake Bob Sandlin in northeast Texas. The result: massive trees, tall grasses and a fascinating mix of plants and animals. The fishing is pretty good, too! Fish in the lake from shore, pier or boat. Or try your luck at the stocked Trout Pond or Brim Pond. Anglers here catch largemouth bass, catfish and crappie. The park has a boat ramp, a lighted fishing pier and a fish cleaning station. We loan fishing poles and rent kayaks for use in the park.
