Lake Carthage Lakeside Use Area is situated along the shores of the 1,300-acre Lake Carthage and offers 13 electrical campsites and multiple primitive tent sites with lakeside views. The park includes a boat ramp and boat beach for lake access, and vault toilets are typically available year-round.
A dump station and shower house are located in the nearby town of Carthage. Water hydrants may be shut off between October 1 and April 30; visitors should contact the park for current conditions. The area is open year-round and is popular for fishing and other lake-based recreation.
