About Danish Alps State Recreation Area
Danish Alps State Recreation Area encompasses a 219-acre lake, known as Kramper Reservoir, named for Vince Kramper, and is surrounded by 520 acres of parkland. The area derives its name from early Danish settlers in the region.
The site provides camping, day use facilities, and trails for hiking, biking, and equestrian use, with shoreline areas designed for fishing.
