About Crawford State Park
Crawford State Park spans 500 acres and features six campgrounds with 28 primitive sites, 38 electric-only sites, 25 50-amp/water sites, and 20 30-amp/water sites, all offering views of the lake. The Lakeview Group Use Area at the south end of the lake provides 10 electric sites suitable for group gatherings. Five lakefront rental cabins are available year-round by reservation, and amenities include two boat ramps, three bathhouses, courtesy docks, and a dump station.
The park offers four hiking and biking trails, a swimming beach, and excellent fishing for channel catfish, crappie, and striped bass. Located on the edge of the Ozarks, it showcases diverse Kansas landscapes with redbud trees, wildflowers, birds, and butterflies in spring. A marina restaurant serves meals Friday through Sunday, and seasonal campground programming is offered in summer.
