About Coeur d’Alene Parkway
Coeur d’Alene Lake Parkway State Park features a 5.7-mile paved pathway along the north shore of Lake Coeur d’Alene, popular for walking, hiking, and cycling. The parkway is part of the 24-mile North Idaho Centennial Trail and allows Class 1 and 2 e-bikes. Amenities include roadside picnic tables, restroom facilities, benches, and an exercise course, with access to Higgens Point’s boat launch and group picnic area overlooking the lake.
During winter, the area attracts spectators watching Bald Eagles during their southern migration. The Veterans Memorial Bridge provides a scenic backdrop, and day-use hours follow Idaho state code 26.01.20(5), typically 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., subject to park manager discretion.
